What started as a podcast between friends in 2024 has grown into a thriving community of readers from around the world.
Through podcast episodes, monthly book clubs, Discord events, social media, and in-person meetups, we've created a space where readers can laugh, theorize, cry over fictional characters, and celebrate books together.
Today, Between Pages & Friends is hosted by Lauren and Kyle, who continue the mission of making every reader feel like they have a place to belong. Whether you've been reading with us for years or you just found us today, there's always room for another friend.
About the Podcast
Between Pages & Friends is a spoiler-free book club podcast designed to let you experience the story right alongside us.
Each episode covers a small section of a book, sharing first-time reactions, theories, favorite moments, and plenty of thoughts along the way. We never discuss anything beyond the chapters we're covering, so you can read and listen without worrying about spoilers for what's ahead.
Over the years, we've read our way through some of your favorite series and had the opportunity to sit down with authors, audiobook narrators, fellow podcasters, content creators, and more.
Now we're turning the page to a new chapter of Between Pages & Friends, beginning with the Stonewater Kingdom series by Rachel Gillig.

Hi! I'm Lauren! 🧡
I'm a full-time mom, high school choir teacher, and one half of the duo behind Between Pages & Friends. I've been a reader ever since I picked up Twilight in middle school, and I'm still really here for the romance!
I get way too attached to fictional characters and cry often enough that the podcast has an official Cry Counter dedicated to keeping track.
Behind the scenes, I love dreaming up new ways for our community to experience books together, from reading and writing challenges to walking challenges and more. Creating opportunities for people to connect beyond the books is one of my favorite parts of BP&F.
Hi! I'm Kyle! 💚
My love of reading was reignited when Lauren convinced me to join her in reading modern fantasy, and now I spend a lot of time thinking way too deeply about fictional people.
I put my counseling degree to excellent use making unapologetic case studies out of characters, coming up with theories, and handing out red flags in the Red Flag Diary. I'm also a proud '90s kid with an endless supply of random facts and pop culture references.
Behind the scenes, I created and organize our Discord community and DM our online Dungeons & Dragons campaign. I love bringing stories to life with friends and finding ways to keep the conversation going long after we've closed the book.
The Best Part Is the Friends
The books may have brought us together, but the friendships are what make this community so special.
Between Pages & Friends has become a place where people from all over the world have found one another, built real relationships, and created friendships that extend far beyond the books we're reading. We've watched online friendships turn into real-life ones, seen friends travel across the country to spend time together, and shared countless moments and memories along the way.
Somewhere between the pages, we found our people.
Our greatest hope is that BP&F continues to be a place where you can find yours, too.
